Paperclips — path from education to action

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. The story of a classroom learning experience that started with a paperclip but soon became a lesson in authoritarian regimes.
Gia is a Grade 6 student in West Vancouver. When she is not at school, Gia likes to read books and play basketball. She is a part of her school’s ME to WE club and is interested in how children can help change the world when they become informed and engaged.
